Brayson's Three!

When I woke up this morning, I realized that my baby boy was turning 3 today. We already had his birthday, so I really didn't plan on doing much on his actual birthday, but I decided to take him to do something fun. I thought that we'd take a trip to Johnson City to go to the Exotic Resort Zoo. Brayson thought that would be a "gweat idea" too. We called up Nana and hit the road! What a blast we had!!! I never thought that that place would be so exciting, but it really was so much fun! Brayson loved every minute of it!

I can't believe it's been 3 years since I gave birth to my perfect baby Brayson. God has really blessed me and my family with such an amazing little boy. If someone had told me 4 years ago that I'd have a little boy, I would have told them they were crazy because I wasn't having any more kids! Boy am I glad that God knew better than me. I could not be happier with my little family. I truly am thankful for every gift that God has given us.

Here is what we've been up to the last couple of months or so. We had such a wonderful, very eventful summer that I really hated for it to end. Blaire had way more to do this summer than ever before! I guess that's a sign of getting older! We had a great family reunion, spent time on the lake and we spent the last day of summer before school started at Splashtown in San Antonio. We had a blast! Blaire's friend Leah came along, too. Then school started and it's been super busy since! Brayson had his 3rd birthday party and he started school also. Blaire has started volleyball and will soon cheer at her first football game! Here are some pics....

Padre Island

We took our annual trip to Corpus Christi this past week and boy did we have a great time!! The kids seem to love it more every year. Brayson couldn't wait to hit the beach. This year we took a tour of the USS Lexington and really learned alot of interesting facts. Brayson and Blaire loved looking at the airplanes on board the aircraft carrier. We also went to our favorite seafood restaurant, Waterstreet Seafood Co. We look forward to that every year!! We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the beach and can't wait to go back again next year!

July 4th Weekend

What a wonderful weekend we had!! We were blessed with a visit from cousins Austin and Trenton. Blaire and Brayson love playing with them!! They had a great time bowling and playing with Pop's canoe.

Sunday we headed into Marble Falls for the Independence Day celebration. The kiddos had a great time. The weather was so nice and the breeze coming off the water was perfect!

Monday we were invited by some friends of ours to their neighborhoods annual 4th of July parade. The kiddos were excited to get to participate by riding their bikes along with the fire trucks.

Well, that's it until next time. We've had a very busy summer so far, but it's been a lot of fun! Blaire made all A's and perfect scores on all 3 of her TAKS tests and we couldn't be more proud of her. She has been to basketball and vollyball camps this summer and helped with the puppets for Vacational Bible School at our church. Brayson is liking his sissy being home this summer. He had a great time at VBS, too. We've spent alot of time in the backyard on the slip-n-slide and at the city pool and the lake. I've been in most of the time making cakes...lots and lots of cakes! I'm very blessed to have a business that I can run from the comfort of my home. Darby is getting to work a few claims around the Austin area so we are so excited to have him home for a little while!! Life is so good for the Hambrick's!! See ya in a few more months!! Just kidding, maybe I can do better at keeping you updated on the happenings! Yeah right. ;)

Spring Fever!

Well, I think every time that I blog I say that I'm going to be better at keeping up and not wait so long before I blog again, but I'm not going to say that this time. I have learned that I can't keep my word on that.

Here's what's been happening lately....We all have spring fever pretty badly. Brayson was gung-ho to plant "fwowers" so we took a trip to town to get some. He picked some pretty ones as did Blaire. Blaire even found him some little gloves that he loves! I figured by the time we got home he would figure out that planting flowers wasn't as fun as he'd thought, but that wasn't the case. He had so much fun and he was so proud! He even wanted some boys that were playing across the fence to come see his flowers!

Yesterday we ventured out to ride bikes. Up until now, Brayson couldn't even go backwards on his tricycle let alone go forwards. Well, he's doing really good now! He likes to "try" to keep up with Sissy. He kept telling her to "swo down, Sissy"! It was too cute! I'm glad he can finally ride, but now I have to go with him because the only place to ride is in the middle of the street! Oh well. I guess I could use the exercise anyway!

Lately....

It seems I've been putting off sitting down and posting what's been going on lately. I've been super busy with cakes and running these two kiddos around that any spare time I have I use to unwind. Well...here goes. The other day Blaire had a day off from school and Darby suggested we call PawPaw to see if we could bring the kids down to ride horses. PawPaw said to "come on", so that's what we did! The kids had so much fun. Brayson got to ride for the first time and he loved it! He rode Stumpy (Tumpy) and he got to going a little fast and kinda slid off the side. He didn't cry, though. Darby stuck him right back up there in the saddle and he was more concerned about the dirt on his clothes than anything else. Then he got to ride a REAL TRACTOR! Tractors are his first love! We then went to the Bass Pro Shop with PawPaw and met Mema there. The kids had so much fun looking at all the mounted animals! We had a great supper afterwards at the Red Robin. Thanks Mema and PawPaw for a fun day!

Then the next weekend we went to Aunt Ginger's surprise 50th birthday party in Junction! We had a great time. Ginger was really surprised! Brayson and Blaire got to play with cousins Alex and Avery. That's always fun!

Then the NEXT week, Darby and I had a date for his belated birthday! We went to a concert in Cedar Park to see Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. They put on a great show! We had an awesome date and realized that we need to do that a little more often! Thanks Nana and Pops for keeping the kids for us! They love to stay over there!!

The next night was the Allcat conference dance with Johnny Rodriguez and the Big Outfit band (with Uncle Brad). It was an awesome concert as well. The kids went with us and had a blast dancing and eating good food! Then the next day, we went to cousin Hadyn's 5th birthday pizza party! It was sooo much fun! The kids all got to make their own little personal sized pizza! Blaire and Brayson enjoyed theirs last night and it was yummy!

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family to make memories with. I enjoy every minute with them all. It's been a busy past few weeks, but I wouldn't change a single moment!!

I'll try to post a little sooner next time so you won't have so much to read...but I'm not making any promises.

On December 30, 2009 my baby girl shot her first deer. She was so excited! This was the first year that she wanted to go hunting and Darby and PawPaw were thrilled. She's so tender-hearted and never wanted to kill anything, but I guess something changed this year and she decided that she wanted to show those boys at school that she could be every bit the hunter that they are! Thanks to Aunt Kelli and Uncle John for providing the deer hunting location and for PawPaw for scouting out the deer and for Darby for being an excellent hunting guide! You'll notice that Blaire put the perfect shot on that sucker...right in the heart! She's only shot a gun a couple of times before this, too. I guess she takes after her Mom (although I think Darby would disagree with that). I think this was the perfect birthday gift for Darby. He got to take his daughter on her first hunt and she actually killed a nice buck! He was so proud.

Last night we went to Wurstfest in New Braunfels with Mema and Pawpaw. We met Aunt Kelli, Uncle John, Kenedy, Hadyn, and Hudson there, too! John's parents, MoMo and Mop, as the kids call them, were there and Momo (John's mom) was so sweet to ride the rides with Brayson since she already had an arm band! She let him ride whatever he wanted and as many times as he wanted! The kids had a blast!

Fall Festival day!!

Today was Brayson's Fall Festival at the Bluebonnet Preschool. He had soooo much fun! He loves parties! He dressed up in his Halloween costume. He was Larry the cable guy. He loved getting his mustache and sideburns painted on, but he didn't like wearing his cap. Go figure! Here are some pics from his big day!

Last Saturday, we got up early and went to Burnet to see the real Thomas the tank engine! We didn't tell Brayson where we were going, mainly because we didn't want to hear him yell Thomas the whole trip! When we got there, it didn't take long before Brayson spotted Thomas! It was the cutest thing. Luckily I captured the moment on video. We all had a great time riding the train and going to the gift shop. I bought a few Christmas gifts while we were there (first ones for the year, yikes!!). I'm so glad we took him to see Thomas, even though he'll just remember it through photos. Blaire's first school dance was a couple of weeks ago. I'm just now finding the time to blog about it. She had soooo much fun! She was a little dissapointed that a boy didn't ask her to dance, but her daddy and I weren't! Darby and I were chapperones, much to Blaire's disapproval! We had a great time as well. Last week Brayson had his 2 year birthday party! Seems like only yesterday I was bringing him home from the hospital. My how time flys when you're having fun!! I still can't believe I have a little boy. I went for so long with one child that it still seems weird to say I have two....let alone a BOY! I can not imagine life without that little bundle of energy! I have been blessed with the sweetest kids ever and the best husband to raise them with!! God is soooo good!!

Here are some pictures from the birthday party that we had at the park. We had such a great time and was blessed with cool weather! Mema and Pawpaw came up from Spring Branch along with Aunt Kelli, Uncle John, Kenedy, Hadyn and Hudson! We missed Aunt Kristi and Uncle Brad and Alex and Avery and also Uncle Kenny and Aunt Ginger, they weren't able to make it! Maybe next year. Nana and Pops came with Great Aunt Karen and a whole bunch of Brayson's good friends as well as Darby and mine!! He got tons of gifts (mostly trains)! He loved every one of them! He is addicted to trains and trucks! He's such a boy!

Well, Darby and I dropped Brayson off at Bluebonnet Preschool this morning. I cried early this morning so that I wouldn't have to cry when we dropped him off. I'm very proud of myself! He was soo excited! The look on his face was priceless. He carried his little Cars lunchbox all the way! He'll have a great day I know. His teacher is so sweet and I've heard soooooo many good things about her. He's gonna be one smart little boy in no time! I'm very excited to have a couple of days a week to get some much needed work accomplished! I'm gonna miss him dearly, though!!! Now, we're off to get him a big boy bed. His baby bed has had it!

"Firsts"

Yesterday, Blaire and Darby went out on the lake to see if she could slalom ski. Turns out, she's a natural, yet again (and, yes, I am jealous, AGAIN)! You can see her in action in the video below. Brayson has learned how to cast and real in his fishing pole. Nana has taught him well! When he finds out he doesn't have a hook on the end of his line, he's not gonna be very happy! You can see him in action in the video below as well. I have to appologize, once again, for videoing sideways. I'm becomming notorious for that.

My baby girl started 6th grade this morning :( :(. I'm a little sad can you tell! I can't believe she's a big Middle Schooler now! What happened to my baby girl?? Here are a couple of pictures from Blaire going into Kindergarten and one from today. I cried that day and I cried today, too.

We were in Academy yesterday, and we passed by the little football gear. Darby just had to try it on Brayson. He can't hardly wait until Brayson gets out there on that football field! Brayson didn't quite know what to think of the pads, but he sure liked the "hat"!

Yesterday evening some friends of ours called up to see if we wanted to spend the afternoon with them on the lake, we said "Duh!". We'll not exactly. So anyway...we went over to their house about 4:00 and had a great time!! The kids loved every minute of it! Blaire got to surf for the first time, as did Darby. Brayson also had a first. He rode the tube and he had a blast! Except Blaire said that he kept saying "help!" while they were bouncing up and down! But he smiled the whole time! We started to get hungry so Kelly called in some burgers at the River City Grill on the Lake and we rode up in the boat and picked them up. All the way back to the house Brayson kept saying "EAT, EAT"! We took it back to their house and dug in! Brayson was too interested in their backyard with the pool, fish pond, puppy, stairs, pool toys and swings to eat. He finally ate his when we left at 9:00. Thanks Offutt family for an evening of fun!!

I have to appologize for the little clip at the bottom. I'm bad about videoing sideways!! Just turn your head to a 90 degree angle and you shouldn't have any problem! :) The clip was taken while Blaire was on the surf board and started feeling real sure of herself and decided to wave at some passerbys! It's pretty funny! Enjoy!

Yes, I know it's been awhile since my last post. I've just been too far behind and I wasn't sure how to catch back up!! I have soooo many pictures that I just felt overwhelmed! I broke down and bought a new computer, so hopefully this won't be such a pain to do anymore! It used to take forever to download a few pictures!! Now it's much easier and faster!! I'll try to stay updated a little better! I decided to do another slide show since I had so many pictures. Some were taken at the family reunion, some at cousin Kenedy's birthday party, and others were just some fun things we have done this summer! Hope you enjoy!

Happiness here lately has been enjoying family and watching my two wonderful children soak up the warm sunny weather. Mother's day weekend we went to my sister Kelli's house for a baby shower for my cousin Samantha. She's having a baby girl this summer! Brayson and Blaire had a large time at Uncle John and Aunt Kelli's new house. Brayson really enjoyed the tennis courts. You'll see a picture of him in the slideshow below of him getting ready for tennis practice. The next day we went to celebrate my grandmother, Noni's 97th birthday! I made her favorite cake...Italian Cream! She's one of my biggest fans.

Last week we enjoyed taking the boat out on the lake and watching Blaire just hop up on two skis! I'm so jealous of my own daughter. I couldn't ever get up on skis. She just pops up anytime she wants. I guess she took after her water-loving father! Then on Friday, Pops and I went to pick up a playscape that my sister Kelli found for us on Craigslist. Thanks Kelli and Pops!! Pops and I had to disassemble it to get it into the truck, okay Pops had to disassemble it! I supervised really well, though. When Darby got home, Pops and he put it together! Boy did Brayson have a large time breaking it in! Blaire had fun, too! I'm really glad it all worked out and my kids now have one more thing to keep them out of my hair...well at least for the time being.

San Francisco Vacation

Okay, okay...I finally got around to posting San Francisco pics. Darby and I went there for our 13 year wedding anniversary. Darby had to go out there for a flood claim trial that he worked several years ago and I decided to tag along and make it a vacation! A much needed one might I add. Thanks to Nana and Pops keeping the kids, we were able to go and enjoy ourselves for 4 wonderful days!! Thanks Nana and Pops!!!!! Y'all are the best! We enjoyed the sites and wonderful food of SF and best of all, we just enjoyed each other's company. It's been quite a while since we had a vacation alone. Last Wednesday we left church early because a storm was coming in. Little did we know we hadn't left quite early enough to beat the hail that decided to beat down on us. About the time I got within 3 blocks of the house, it started. It was small at first and then as we pulled up to the house, it got bigger! I had to get both kids out of the Jeep with both of them screaming! It wasn't a fun site! We were able to get in safely, but boy did our house take a pounding. We have some holes in the siding on our gable and lots of roof damage, but compaired to our friends right down the street, we faired fairly well.

Spring Break '09

We had a great spring break last week. Darby was home from Saturday through Wednesday and we were really glad to have him home. Blaire's spring break actually kinda started on the Friday before. I tagged along with Blaire's class to the Austin Museum of Art. We had a great time learning about modern art. I took Blaire home early and we picked up Brayson at the babysitter and headed to see our newest twin cousins, Alex and Avery. Boy were they precious!! I didn't think Brayson would care too much about them, but I think he kinda liked them. Monday, Darby had to work on claims and I had to work on cakes, so we promised the kids, well Blaire, that we'd take them to the San Antonio Zoo on Tuesday. We thought we had a great idea until we realized once we got there, that everyone else in San Antonio had the same great idea. We had to park a mile away, literally, and then wait in a long line for close to an hour just to get in the gate! Brayson wasn't real impressed by the zoo at this point. Once we got in, it got a little better. All in all, we had a great day. Brayson had the most fun feeding the goats in the petting zoo. He stood under the food dispenser and picked up the food that people dropped and then fed it to the goats. It was hilarious to watch! The rest of the week Blaire played with friends and rode her bike. Brayson just played out in the backyard most of the time. I had a few cakes to do, which I said I wasn't going to do on Spring Break, but I have trouble saying "No". Blaire and I went shopping on her last day of break and we bought some new summer clothes that we were in desperate need of! Here are some cute pics from throughout our week.

OH the messes my two can get into! Brayson was sick for a few days last week and he still managed to get into trouble! I walked in one day to find that he had climbed up in a chair at the kitchen table and poured a whole box of Fruity Pebbles into Blaire's glass that she had left there. He was quite proud of himself for getting some of them into the glass and decided to eat what didn't make it in. I just let him stand there and eat away because it was the first time in many hours that he wasn't crying! Blaire decided that a fort in the living room would be a fun idea. I fought the urge to say no and decided to let her do it. She got out at least 5 blankets for the tiny fort and took 30 minutes creating it. She's such a perfectionist at times! Then they played in it for all of 15 minutes! I was glad that I decided to let her do it. It was fun to see Brayson's face when it was all up!

We then went outside to play because Dad was home and it's always more fun to play in the backyard when Dad's home. And, you guessed it, they got in yet another mess. This was a different kind of mess. Blaire decided she would get in the Cozy Coupe and Brayson could push her. That worked until it came time to get out. She found out she was stuck! Then Brayson thought he would try to get her out by getting into the Cozy Coupe with Sissy. Bad idea. They both were stuck. Mom then had to intervene, after taking a few photos first of course!

Luckily no one was seriously injured. Sorry it has taken me sooo long to update, I had to get a new wireless card for my computer because my son decided that it looked like a toy and would be fun to play with. He broke it and I was without internet for a week waiting for the new one. So, I'll try to stay updated from now on. (No really!)

Valentine's!

This has been a crazy past few days! First off, my sister Kristi had to have an emergency C-section on Thursday and gave birth to the most beautiful little angels ever! The girls weighed in at a whopping 4 lbs 11 oz and 4 lbs 13 oz! Their names are Alex Christine and Avery Celeste. Check them out on their blog at the right, The Hutton House! We are all soooo glad that they are finally here and are doing well. What a great Valentine's day gift! I can't wait to go and baby sit!

Friday, Darby drove 9 hours home from Arkansas to take Blaire on a date to the Daddy/Daughter Valentine's dance at church. Blaire and Darby both were anticipating it and had a great time!! Blaire said they danced nearly every dance! Blaire looked so pretty and I have to say, Darby looked quite handsome, too! Brayson and I stayed home to work on cakes. I'm sure glad they took some great pictures at church so I could see what went on at the dance! Thanks Amber!

Yesterday, Valentine's day, we went to Fort Worth to spend some time with Darby's Mom's family. We had great food and really enjoyed playing with cousins. Everyone in Darby's family is quite musically inclined and we had a great jam session. It really was a fun filled day. Too bad Darby couldn't come home with the kids and I, but he had to go to Tulsa to work some hail and wind claims. We are so thankful for the work, but we really miss him. Thanks for all you do, Darby!!

I was busy cleaning up my kitchen tonight after doing two cakes today, one for cousin Hadyn's birthday party tomorrow, and I was putting dishes in the dishwasher. I heard Brayson diggin' in the dishwasher, which by the way he gets in trouble for EVERY day, when I overheard him saying "num, num" which means yum yum. I looked over to see him taking his little finger and scraping up the leftover buttercream frosting on my spatula! He would take a lick and say "num, num" everytime! It was so cute I had to take a picture! (He didn't get in trouble this time.)

Brayson got some Funny Foam the other day to play with in the bathtub. I bought it because when Blaire was little, she LOVED it! I couldn't wait to let him play with it, but wouldn't ya know he's afraid to touch it! Go figure. A boy who doesn't want to get his hands yucky. I'll have to work on that. Anyway, Blaire decided to "decorate" his head while he wasn't paying attention. I think he looks rather cute. Reminds me of when Blaire was little, just the other day! :(

The Hambrick's have been kinda busy here lately. This past weekend we went to my sister Kristi's baby shower (she's having twins girlies in March!). We had a great time and she got so many nice baby things! Then, on Monday, we headed out to the Enchanted Rock near Fredricksburg. It was a pretty day, but really windy. I didn't see that as a problem until I decided to climb with Blaire up to the top of the Granite dome. Darby stayed at the bottom with Brayson because I insisted to go first, why I'm not sure. I guess I remembered how well I did the whole "rock climbing wall" thing a few weeks ago. Boy was this different! I was tired before I even got to the big rock. We made it almost to the top when I decided to stop and not chance the wind knocking us off. (I was too tired to make it anyway!) It looks like I'll need to start my exercise program after all. I'm in worse shape than I thought! The treck down was even harder on my old body than going up. Once we got down, the kids ate a bite and then Blaire wanted to go back up with Dad. Brayson and I watched from below and saw them make it to the top. I was very proud! I think they had a great time up there looking at the beautiful views. I would recommend going there, it really is a lot of fun, and challenging, too!

Yesterday we ventured to the park here in Marble Falls. The kids played for a little while on the slides and swings, but then decided to go down to the water. They had more fun throwing sand in the water! They were quite filthy, but it was worth it to watch them playing together. Here are some of the shots we took! Have a great week!

I'm finally updated!

I guess you were all wondering if I would ever get this thing updated again, well I'm happy to report that yes I'm back on track. I'm using Darby's computer so it won't take so long, hopefully! The last time I posted I said I would fill you in on the Waites' Christmas, so I will, but I won't have as many pictures since it seems like so long ago. Sorry. We had a great time at Mom and Dad's house. The weather was great so we played outside most of the time. Brayson and Blaire got so many great gifts! One of Brayson's favorites was a little four-wheeler from Aunt Kristi and Uncle Brad. He had a blast on it. It goes about 2 miles an hour which is fast enough for me!

Darby's 36th birthday was on December 31 so we celebrated on New Year's Day with his Mom and Dad and his brother, Darrin. We had a great time playing guitar hero! The weather was warm again, so the kids played outside most of the day.

Darby and I took the kids to a place in Spring Branch called the Emerald Rainbow over Blaire's holiday and we had a lot of fun! Brayson loved the bouncy toys and Blaire loved the rock climbing wall. Darby and I actually raced Blaire up the thing. I didn't think I could make it even half way up, but I managed to ring the bell! Blaire beat me, but I felt a since of accomplishment anyway. I was feeling pretty athletic the few moments after my personal victory, but that feeling quickly gave way to feelings of shortness of breath and pain in my extremeties! Won't be doing that again for a while!! Maybe I'll work out first before attemptin to beat Blaire again. Darby did manage to beat Blaire, but he was having the same feelings I did, but he just won't admit it!

I promise not to wait so long before my next posting! I don't remember saying that before, so I hope I haven't destroyed all confidence you all might have had in me staying updated! I'm going to do better! Here are some more pictures of our many adventures.

CHRISTMAS DAY!

Well, I'm back! I haven't had a chance to catch up on my blogging lately! It's Christmas day and we are at Darby's Mom and Dad's house. Everyone is playing "Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader". I feel I am much too smart to be a fair player, so I thought I'd sit this one out and work on my blog on Pops' computer because it's a lot faster than mine! Thanks so much Pops!

This month has been very busy around the Hambrick house. Blaire was in two Chrismas programs. One at church and one at school. She did awesome in both! She had a solo in each one of them and hit each note perfectly. She also went to a UIL competition in which she won a silver medal in Oral Reading. She was tickeled pink! She also had her birthday party on Dec. 20. It was a chocolate party and boy did we have fun, yes I said we because I had as much fun as the seven girls that were there! Thanks Nana for the use of the chocolate fountain! We also went to have Christmas with my 96 year-old grandmother in Boerne. It was nice to get all of my Mom's side of the family together to catch up.

Brayson also had an eventful December. He had his second visit with Santa and he tried to pull his beard off! He thought Santa was pretty cool when he gave him a candy cane! Then, at Blaire's birthday he had a chance to show off for the "babes" at the party! Boy did he show off! We got quite a dancing show! Then he got sick , but he's getting better now. Christmas morning was a blast! The look on his and Blaire's face was priceless! Brayson got a new Cozy Coupe car in which he is already obsessed with! He wouldn't look at anything else! Blaire got Guitar Hero Aerosmith. She's pretty obsessed with it already, too. Darby and her had a little competition after the unwrapping of gifts. I have to say, Blaire can beat her Dad pretty bad! As Darby puts it, she can wax him!

Darby and I bought each other a new Sleep Number bed and it will be in on Dec. 30. I can't wait for it to "fix" my back! I'll let you know how it works out. We will be spending tomorrow with my family in Spring Branch to celebrate the Waites' Christmas. We are looking forward to more fun! I'll post pics from tomorrow at a later date, hopefully! Overall, we have had a very blessed Christmas and 2008 and we have soooo much to be thankful for. We are looking forward to ringing in the new year! Here are some of the pics from the month!!

Well, I thought I'd give this whole blogging thing a try. Since "everyone is doing it" I decided to conquer my fear of blogging and jump right in. I have to be honest, I was a little intimidated at first, but I think my confidence is improving. I'm not quite the computer geek, I mean genious, that my two sisters are, but I'm learning. My blog might not be fancy and pretty, but my family pics will surely make up for that! Bare with me as I figure this whole thing out! Here goes!

Passing the Time

I had to deliver a wedding cake on Sunday to Llano and I had to take both kids along. Fun, fun! Poor Blaire was left in charge of Brayson once we got there. I thought maybe they would just sit in the car and wait for me, but Brayson decided that was a bad idea. I told Blaire to let him run around bare footed on the church lawn since I didn't have time to put his shoes on. So she chased him all around the church grounds and even in the church a couple of times (real professional to have a bare-footed child following you into the beautifully decorated sanctuary screaming MaMa!) I threatened Blaire and told her to keep him outside. The grass appeared to be lush and sticker free, but after about 15 minutes I came out of the church to find Blaire sitting on a bench with Brayson sprawled out in her lap screaming. He had gotten into a batch of stickers with his little bare feet and Blaire being the good sister that she is, was trying desperately to remove them. She was not too happy with him. I picked him up and decided to let him sit in the driver seat of the car and "drive" while I continued to set up the cake. When I came back out about 20 minutes later this is what I found:
